Gobbo is the most important product of the range presented by the Winery Peri Bigogno and has being the first wine sold in bottle in 1972 by the family.
Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon (40% each) – Bordeaux red style – with a 20% of a local native grape: Marzemino.
Colour: clear, dark ruby red with pomegranate reflections, sign of its long aging in oak barrels.
Perfume: pleasant, delicate, persistent, with complex aromas of vanilla, cooked cherry, dry prune, walnut husk and sweet spices.
View more informationTaste: warm, full and smooth, persistent with a certain taste of chocolate, dry, warm, rather smooth. The delicate taste of wood and sweet spices prevail over the specific herbaceous aroma of the Merlot grape. Definitely harmonious wine, full of body, very pleasant.

Peri Bigogno
Cantina Peri Bigogno born in 1946 on the moraine hills of Castenedolo, a small town near Garda Lake. Andrea, third generation, is focusing to refine their sparking wine Talento (refermentation in the bottle, the method called in France “Method Champenoise”) and celebrate a local grape (Marzemino) in its red and rose versions.
