Mascali, eastern side of Etna (Sicily) a great red wine. Hand picked at an altitude of 500m, maceration for about 15 days and then a long period in oak (24 months in French oak barrels followed by 3 months in the bottle).
The color is a transparent ruby red, at the nose is fruity with notes of berries, spicy with notes of aromatic herbs and in the mouth it’s a really nice balanced red wine, fresh, soft, tannic and persistent.
