The Noventa family vineyards are situated on three different Botticino hills with different geological origins, although they all have an extremely high percentage of lime, which helps to give the wines their distinctive elegance. Noventa produces three “crus”, one for each hill, which also derive some of their character from the different ages of the vineyards themselves.
In Botticino, the Noventa family cultivates 11 hectares of vineyards high in the hills, and Pierangelo was joined in the business some years ago by his daughters Alessandra and Rossella and by Cristian, Alessandra’s husband.
Botticino marble
“You must taste the marble in our Botticino,” was a favourite saying of Grandfather Piero, who was already producing this fine DOC wine three generations ago and was aware of the importance of the territory for its character.
