From native grape Cesenese nero, ancient native variety of local hills whose tracks were completely lost.
The harvest takes place at the end of October, the wine is subjected to a long maceration on the skins then aged in oak for 13 months before bottling.
The result is a bright and mineral wine with notes of liquorice and red fruits that , with age, tends to lose colour getting rich in sandalwood and spices aromas. The first vintage was in 2011.
