Lugana DOC from Scolari, historical winery next to Lake Garda.
The colour is pale straw yellow with greenish highlights. At the nose very mineral fragrance with delicate citrus notes and in the mouth fresh and fruity with notes of almond.
View more informationLugana is a wine made from a typical native variety called TURBIANA or TREBBIANO DI LUGANA. The vineyards producing the grapes for Scolari’s LUGANA Classic Line grow in one of the DOC’s most historic zones, between Sirmione and Desenzano.
The harvest is hand-picked in late September / early October. Once the grapes arrive at the winery the process starts with a soft-pressed, cold settling, slow fermentation at controlled temperature (14°C – 16°C) and at the end aging in steel.
6.5 gr/L of residual sugar compared to the 5 gr/L of the Premium version.
