Menicucci, founded by Antonio Menicucci in 1970, produces 100% organic wine, from the native Abruzzesi grapes; Montepulciano D’Abruzzo, Trebbiano D’Abruzzo, Pecorino Terre Di Chieti and Passerina Terre Di Chieti.
The Menicucci vineyards stretch over 20 hectares of vineyards, located in the municipalities of Canosa Sannita and Ortona. The soils are made up of textured lands and generally end with a limestone substrate and rocky outcrops sparse. The thermal values characterize a rather warm texture, with little annual rainfall and very high temperature ranges; a condition that has a beneficial influence on the quality of the grapes.
